I was really happy when i found out RR is back. I discovered some nice music thanx to RR. But it used to be 128kbs and now it is 64kbs. Thats a real pity. Does not sound good in my opinion. And I'm a person who does wants sound quality as a former sound engineer. Will there be a HQ stream in the future? I don't expect 320kbs (would be nice :-)), but at least 128 or 160kbs.

What player are you using? I wonder if you are only getting the AAC portion of the scream but not the SBR portion.

Hi Shane

I agree with cyberjoe about the bit rate.I'm a sound tech as well. I remember when RR
went down to 96mp3 for a while. I actually emailed you about it. You explained it cost another $50 a month in part of your reply. I felt we lost RR because we as a whole didn't support this ministry - is that faith bro's & sisters? NOT!
So I'm very grateful you are back & as soon as you have a support link up I'm planning on sending cash on a regular basis by the grace of God.Let's stand tall for Jesus and put our [His] money where it's due, Support the ministry.

A bit rate of 128 min is important no doubt to many of us-even if it's aac.
Please consider it and contact me if you want to talk $ for a higher bit rate Shane.

I'm sure I'm playing the stream the right way. But sound is a bit "messy". And when I'm really listening to music, i don't use MP3 at all. I know, I'm spoiled. I understand that it is a $ subject. Maybe free 64kbps and payed 192kbps (or 320 ). Just as Zipp, I'm thinking on contributing (and buying visual cliff again ;) ), especially when a good quality stream would be up.
