When I was little, back in the early/mid 80s, my mom had this tape of this band that was nothing like anything I had ever heard, or heard since, in the CM genre. The music was almost mesmerizing. Not an easily classifiable sound, although I would have to call it rock. Every song was different.

The cover art was cartoon-ish and had a lot of 666 references. I remember being disturbed by this (even at that age, I knew what that number meant) but then realized it was some play on the album title and wasn't glorifying Satan. There was a street in the picture (called Easy Street maybe) with shops and things with something like 6 bananas for 66 cents.

There was a song on it that had something to do with a lion and/or a jungle.

I believe it was mostly male singing, but many people may have been singing the chorus.

I was under the age of 6 so I don't really remember anything else. I would love to find this for my kids.

Any help would be appreciated.

Hi.How's it going.I read your post and I'll be going through my collection to see if I can find what you're looking for.It does sound vaguely familiar, though. If you can remember anything else about it,it might make it a bit easier to find.
